yoyo dieting can make one lose muscle tone. the muscles help the skin look a nice shape. so one way to make the skin look firmer is to build muscle. the skin also needs nourishment so extra minerals and vitamins like zinc and vitamin e and c, all help to nourish and heal skin. some people rub on lotions with vit e and olive oil etc into the skin, also skin brushing. Skin brushing as well as sea baths, massage and exercise helps the skin to get the circulation of nutirents and healthier skin. taking some extra omega fatty acids, eg evening primrose oil, or a spoon of uncooked fressh flaxseed oil on top fo the vegies, or a few almonds can also help feed the skin from teh inside. Collagen helps the skin stay healthy. Good minerals and vitamin C all help to make good collagen. So it boils down to eating lots fo fresh fruit and vegies, and good protein nad healthy food that can keep the skin and muscles under the skin in the best health. While you can see that you have done damage by maybe crash dieting and yoying a lot, it is still possible to improve the skin a lot. So build some muscle, moisturize the skin, and eat lots of fresh foods. Another approach is to incorporate plenty of toning exercises. Body builders say just body build, but toning can be body building if you still have some extra weigh on you. eg leg lifts and squats can be quite good toners if you still have a few extra pounds on you. If you are down to a low fat weight, and feel up for it, with medical checks that you have not run yourself down too much dieting etc, then leg presses and tricep exercises etc and such at the gym can do a lot to create a nice shape under the skin. people who have yoyoed usually have a real lack of muscles left, and that means they may even have quite a bit too much fat left even at the correct weight for their height. So if they can get some muscle tone back, and lose a bit more fat, then the skin may look better. If skin still sags badly, some have surgery to tighten, but most would say try the muscle building and extra fresh foods etc for a year or two first before considering any other ideas.
