Hello, I have been joining my school's swimming team for a while now. And when I dive off the block to start a race, the water would slam so hard against my face that my cheekbones and nose bridge would hurt a bit. I was worried that these diving starts would perhaps misshape or injure or break my nasal sceptum. Is that possible in the long run? Or is it just my imagination? If injury to nasal sceptum is possible from this, how can I protect myself from it? Thanks in advance.
