for the past month ive been dieting and exersing mainly stationary cycling and weight training. but im not loosing weight. is this normal should carry on or try some thing else ? HELP |

You are maintaining your weight. You must decrease your calorie intake. You'll see the pounds drop off. Keep up the exercising, but watch the food! |

Not so! I have been working out 5 days a week, 3 miles a day at a 10% incline on my treadmil for 3 months and have only gained weight. I am sick and must limit my caloric intake and fat intake to less than 1250 and 25 grams a day. So what is it that I'm doing wrong then?! |

The weight that you are gaining may be muscle weight. You can still workout, but use light weight/high reps to tone muscle and keep your heart rate in the "fat burning zone" (65% of max HR) during your cardio workout. No late meals and water only! Watch the saturated fat and high carbs. Substitute protien when you can. You follow this and you'll see results. |

I have been working out for about 2 months I was underweight at 5'7" at 115 lbs.! now I am 130. I have been using the treadmill and the elliptical on average 40 minutes and the rest of my 2.5 hour workout i do medium weight training on my arms only- 3 times a week... I consumbe about 1200 calories a day... I feel my outer thighs getting bigger and my hips!! I am trying to do the opposite of that.. I don't want to be bottom heavy from working out and this really frustrates me because I am busting my behind!! |

I have been doing a 1 hr step class w/ body toning class and a hi/lo class followed by body toning class each once a week and then run a few times a week with infant in stroller. I eat very healthy hardly any processed foods make my own breads with home ground wheat and am having troubles lossing about 15lbs.Any addvice? |
