I have started a new programme this week, the gym instructor has put me on a muscle build programme but i dont know if it will work.
On each machine and on the free weights i have 3 sets, on the first set i lift a heavy weight first so i can just get around 6 reps, on the second set i lift a slighty lighter weight & aim for 8 reps, on the last set i go lighter and go for 12 reps.
One example is when i do alat pull i lift 65 kilos on the first set,60 on the second and 55 on the last.
Does anyone know if ths will work??

Yes This will work. I belive the program design is called, breakdown training. It targets the muscle to get two fatigue levels with in the same work out. Remember, our wants are not over night and keep up cardio and good nutrition.
Good luck !
