i know it is said that women just naturally gather fat in the thighs (as well as other target areas) but if anyone knows a simple workout or diet plan that would trim the thighs i would be very grateful

Here is a suggestion.
Lay on your back on the floor, put a rubber ball like a small yoga ball or soccar ball in between legs, (at knees). and sqeeze yourinner thighs into the ball. This will work your inner thighs, Adducter muscles. You can also, add some ab crunches as you squeeze your ball. Do till you fatigue.

Use the lifecycle (or elliptical) machine and cycle backwords at the lower points in the programmed workouts (I don't use the arm levers when I go backwards). Keep your heels flat and really push down with your heels. Try positioning your feet at slight angles on the pedals (I can't quite remember, but I think it's with toes slightly outward) until you really feel the burn on your inner thighs. Good luck. Oh..and don't be obsessed with working just that portion of you leg, make sure to keep it within a balanced work out.

ooo thanks guys. i've just got into the whole exercise things and loving it but today my 'best mate' said how flabby my inner thighs were, he knows ime self conscious. so now ime determined more than ever!
