My mom has been taking ephedra to get energy and stay awake during the day or when she needs to.
I hear on the news and such that it can be bad for your health and can even kill you. I really don't think she believes me when I talk to her about what it has done to people. I want to know more about how it is bad for your health so I can inform her. I am kinda worried for her because she takes 3 or 4 of these black ephedra pills she buys at our local store in town. Please will some one leave me a comment or something with some information about this drug.

Ephedra is used as an energizer and a wieght loss pill. It has killed people and made them sick. but WHY? whats in it? what does it do? please i am concerned for my mother.
