Not necessarily, the rate at which your body burns fat/calories is based on many things such as workout intensity, resting metabolic rate, muscle mass...etc To burn fat most effectively find out what your target heart rate should be for your age and stay at the low to midde of your target range for a sustained period of time. Slower and longer is better. It is true that exercise boosts your metabolism for several hours after a good workout. Morning workouts really shift that metabolism into highgear. S. |
