I run 2 miles every other day, and do crunches every day. For crunches I do 100, followed by 2 sets of 50.

However, I cannot seem to develop visible abs, and I have been doing this for months.

Is it maybe because the men in my family genetically have stomachs that push out?

Help me with this, and what am I doing wrong.
