After reading through a lot of the message boards I can see a common fear of getting too muscular among women. This is truly a misconception. Regular cardiovasclur excercise, moderate weight training, and healthy diet will not turn you into the next Ms. Olympia. The amount of intense training and extreme diet that is required to build bulky muscle on a female frame will rarely be achieved, even by those who have set this goal for themselves. Besides, one of the only ways to actually modify your figure is by accentuating certain part of your body. For instance, if you naturally have a thick waist, strong shoulders will make it appear narrower. I am naturally muscular and build mass relatively easily, yet after 2 years of rigourous heavy training and extreme diet I still would only be classified as having a fitness level physique. Bottom line, don't be afraid to go hard! Watch you confidence skyrocket as a powerful, strong, woman.
