My bet is that your ankle is just fine by now, but if it happens again, go buy a water belt (a minimally restrictive floatation device) and water-jog. Try doing sprint intervals, keeping good running form... this will give you a great total body wokrout while your pumping arms and legs. (the water should come up to about your shoulders)
