To get rid of your shin splints and avoid getting them again, try this: sit in a chair with a towel laid out flat on the floor by your feet. With your toes at one end, scrunch up the towel with your toes. You can do this while you are on the phone! You can also sit in a chair and raise your toes up towards you several times. If you don't want to do a hundred of them, lean up against a wall and do this slowly so that you only have to do about 10-20. It will hurt a little at first, but you will build up strength and get rid of the shin splints! These excercises are also good to do before your practices to warm up! Good luck! |
