Hi this is my first time posting usually i just come on and read the messages. I have been overweight my whole life and i guess for me finding a diet that could possibly work isnt the problem its sticking to it. I hate waiting to see results like if I start a diet i wanna see results tommorrow like..stupid eh?

After reading the message from RBM i thought I should post...never get too much advice huh?
When I was in grade 7 at High School I was soo sick of being pointed at and laughed I started to make a little dash to the little girls room after each meal. This went on and on and on....I didn't loose any weight..but felt like crap. I kept doing this until i had made myself so sick once that during a basketball game i fainted due to lack of food. My best friend was next to me and she knew. She burst out crying I never knew it could hurt her as much as it did.

I am no britney Spears and I really dont intend to be but now I have got onto a balanced diet and I have been only on it for two weeks but im determined to stick it out. Its actually the body for life program which runs for 12 weeks. It is basically a balanced diet of 5-6 meals per day that are balanced. 40% carbs, 40% protein and 20% Fat. Everybody needs fat...trust me.. You also train. mon-wed-fri weights and tues-thur-sat, cardio. Sunday is your day off and you can eat whatever you want! WHATEVER! Its to tell your body that you are not starving. The best thing I think is that its not sooo strict as many other diets. If you want a cookie....then have one!
