starving yourself will NOT work... your metabolism will not work correctly, you will lose muscle & water only, and you'll wind up gaining weight when you stop and get health problems. stay away from carbs, sugar, sodium (salt.. also in most salad dressings so watch out!), and transfats (in stuff like margarine). Drink plenty of water, green tea, and exersize. Don't work the same muscle 2 days in a row though. I personally like Pilates and some Yoga. Don't starve yourself though. And fill up on fruits (no bananas) and veggies (no corn) and you will be fine. You want to keep your blood sugar level from rising and get your metabolism boosted. You can also run for 5-10 minutes, then do crunches. Repeat that a few times, it'll work. I'm only 15 and can handle all this, without starving myself and with being healthy. You can do it too.
