A low carb diet is a way to lose weight quickly, but it is almost impossible to eat absolutly no carbs(did you know that a can of Mountain Dew has 47 carbs-kinda puts things in perspective). Fruits has quite a bit of carbs in them-the only ones that don't are strawberries and blueberries(I think all berries are carb free). I was on a low carb diet for 10 weeks and a 5 day a week excercise program-I went down one complete size. But let me tell you-it is hard, I craved carbs all the time and as soon as I had a little I binged on them for a week and lost control of that diet. My best advice is to eat a balanced diet and drink plenty of water. Don't worry, you are not alone-I am struggling to beat this weight issue too!!
