The best way to keep track of how many calories you've had in a day is to start a food diary. Just write down everything you've eaten (even just one tiny little piece of something). Look back on it and you will say did I really kneed that? Allot of the time the answer is no. Look at what you are eating that is good and try to replace that with the bad foods. (usually anything that is premade is bad)
