I never considered myself fat, i am very active and excercise at least five times a week but i really wanted to eat better. I am 16, i am 5"6 and weigh 125lbs. ( i lost approx. 20 lbs since i rewamped my diet) i feel great and i get tons of compliments about the way i look. I decided to cut out snacking completely, increase my intake of fruits and vegetables, drink only water or milk (some 100% juice), no white flour, refined sugar, no processed food, and low fat dairy. if you are a busy person like myself plan ahead and pack a meal for the next day to avoid having to stop for fast food. do not skip breakfast, i eat a big breakfast with fruit, low fat dairy, and lean proteins which fill me up and keep me satisfied and happy throughout the day. i do not believe in depriving yourself of foods, but next time before you are about to indulge into a dessert or any other food ask yourself, do i really need it? am i actually hungry? there have been ups and downs to my weight loss but throughout i stayed true to myself, i stayed positive and i made sure i wasnt hurting my body. it takes time but it is worth it and you feel better.
