I am 5'4" and in my late 30s. I weighted in at a solid 130 lb. in June 2002, which made me feel ridiculous and depressed. So I started what I called a "FEEL GOOD" plan for the summer. 45 days later, I weight 120 lb. now, getting rid of bad constipation too. And this is what I have done so far: I brisk walk 3.5 miles to 4 miles in an hour, 5 to 6 times a week. AS for the food I eat: Breakfast (9:00 am): 1 package of regular flavor Quaker instant oatmeal (100 cal.)+ A half package of apple & cinnamon oatmeal (65 cal.) from the same brand + a serving of fruit (such as an apple, etc). Lunch (no late than 1:30 PM): a serving of lean meat of any kind (chicken, fish) or egg. Lot of steamed vegetables. Pich me up at around 3:00-4:00pm: one light Yogurt, fruit, or couple of crackers (see the label), in short, I keep the cal. intake of this "pick me up" at around 200 cal. Dinner (8:30 to 9:00): one serving of protein + lot of steam vegetables. As for supplements: I take 2 ONE A DAY vitamin. Also, since I am lactos intolerance, so I take enzymes, which I really think is the key for my overall weight lose success and good health. With the enzyme, I can eat oatmeal, potein, and dairy food that keep my digestive tracks healthy and functioning. Drink at least 2 liters (i.e., 2000 ml) of water a day. If I drink juice or anything other beverage, I dilute it with water at a ratio of 1 to 1. |
